Description

The memory match game is the most recent addition to the compendium of games that I have been working on. The game is intended to help your child/children learn  colours  and shapes  as well as have fun while learning.

What is included.

The game includes.:

  1. 12 cards  with coloured shapes on the front of the cards in addition to written instructions

How the game works.

The object of the game is to match as many of the shapes as possible as well as  remember the colours of the shapes on the squares:

  1. Turn all the squares face down
  2. Select one of the squares
  3. Pick up another card
  4. Put the two cards aside. If the shape on the front of the card is the same as the one selected ( this is the first pair)
  5.  Put the card back and select another if the shape on the front of the card is different then you have to

Tip: Remember the shapes on the cards that are replaced as well the colours of the shapes.

Additionally there are other options to playing the memory match game:

Timed memory match:

  1. Give your child/children a specified time frame  e.g  five minutes for a challenge.
  2. Tell him/her to select as many pairs as possible as well as count the pairs .
  3. Count the number of pairs they select too
  4. Give him/her a prize/ reward at the end.

Scored memory match:

  1.  Assign a score to each pair that is selected.
  2. Award a higher score for more pairs
  3. Couple this option with the timed memory match game
